Custom Styles in Layerslider Not Overriding

I’ve tried adding classes and ids to elements in the Layerslider and then targeting them in the custom css section AND in my child theme, but none of my custom styles are overriding. It looks like all the styles added from Layerslider outside of the custom css text area are added inline, so the stuff in the stylesheets wouldn’t be able to override. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to try next?
