    Hi,
    Yesterday I bought another Enfold WP Theme license at Envato/Themeforrest and created an Envato Secret Token Key for that. But every time I fill in the Token in the Enfold update form, I get an error message.
    I was in contact with the Envato support (what – after earlier experiences with those guys – is not very pleasing). The answer was:

    In this situation, you may want to get in touch with the author that created the item – they will be your best resource for relevant, item-specific help.
    The Envato Marketplace provides a platform for millions of individual creative minds from around the world to create, upload and sell their items. We provide assistance with account queries and general site issues. Therefore, the authors will be able to assist you with the item itself.

    But I definitely need this Tolken to keep the website updated, right? So I would be absolutely grateful to get advise what to do.

    For I see no way to add an screenshot here I copied the text of the error message:

    Das letzte Mal, als wir deinen Schlüssel überprüft haben, konnten wir keine Verbindung zu Envato herstellen:
    * Auf Einkäufe konnte nicht zugegriffen werden
    * Auf Benutzername konnte nicht zugegriffen werden (wird nur zu deiner Information benötigt)
    * Auf E-Mail konnte nicht zugegriffen werden (wird nur zu deiner Information benötigt)

    * Einkäufe: Fehlercode 403 von Envato erhalten: Forbidden:

    Hi Nikko,

    Thank you. That was helpful. If your support would have provided the relevant articles in the FAQ parallel to the answers of the support search, I could have saved you the work of an answer.

    By the way, what I find extremely annoying is that Envato in the tolken’s registration process only sets a checkmark next to “View and Search Envato sites” when issuing the token. This means that if you don’t read this text carefully, you have no chance of understanding that this is not sufficient for registration. This is about the tenth licence I’ve bought from Enfold (I have a separate account for Highschool Australia), and it was never a problem with the first ones after implementing the tolken thing.

    And the Envato people are too stupid or too arrogant to point out in a support request that possibly the wrong or too few checkmarks have been set. Incidentally, I’ve already had a run-in with them once, because it’s a real problem to understand how the licences and invoices are to be issued to my customers. They are not really helpful and friendly. This note please with greetings to Kriesi.
