Accordion Issue

I have a page with 11 Accordions that act like a multiple choice question. Everything works great but once in a while it seems that the IDs for certain, not all, entries snap to the top of the page, like an anchor. I have utilized this function in the past to have tabs open but this time it actually snaps to the top of the page. If this was the intended function of the accordion, why is it inconsistent?

I will also say that I have one custom ID per accordion section, specifically for the correct answer for each question. I did not reuse those IDs.

Is there a way for me to turn off having the ID appear in the URL at the top?
