    Hi
Everytime I make some changes in the “Enfold” – could be uploading a Favicon, changing the layout of the footer, entering a Envato private token or….. – then the menus are not looking right, and pictures are not showing in Gallery and portfolio. What is wrong?
    Kind regards Johnny

    Hi Johnny,

    Thanks for contacting us!

We are going to need to inspect your website to find out what exactly is wrong. Could you please post a link of your website? :)

    Hi,

Please install this plugin – https://wordpress.org/plugins/enable-jquery-migrate-helper/ and set jQuery version to legacy one in plugin settings, go to Enfold theme options > Performance and disable JS file merging and compression, save theme options and clear cache on your plugin and check if that helps. After that you can enable JS file merging once again in Enfold theme options :)

    Best regards,
    Yigit

    Hi
Thanks – it worked – however if I “After that you can enable JS file merging once again in Enfold theme options :)” do this – then the problem comes back.
    Best regards Johnny

So – if I dont enable JS file merging it will work, BUT then PageSpeed Insights goes very much down, and one of the reason (besides is a beautiful design) that I purchased it is the speed of it.
    Best regards

    Hi,

I think combination of performance settings and cache plugin is the issue but it should be fixable. Could you please create temporary admin logins and post them here privately so we can look into it? :)

    Best regards,
    Yigit

    Hi Yigit
    Problem solved :-)
I think it was a conflict between “Enfold Performance – Javascript file merging and compression” and the “SG Optimizer – Minify JavaScript Files”
    So I have:
1: Set the jQuery Version back to “Default from WP”
2: Enabled the “Enfold Performance – Javascript file merging and compression”
3: Turned off the SG Optimizer – Minify JavaScript Files
Then it is working, and is fast again :-).
Thanks for your support :-) – Kind regards Johnny

    Hi Johnny,

I am glad you figured it out and thank you so much for sharing your solution :)

Then I think jQuery version does not really matter here. Current version Enfold is not fully compatible with WP 5.6, we are going to release compatibility update very soon.
If you are not experiencing any JS issues, I think you could delete the plugin and if you happen to experience any, setting jQuery version back to legacy would fix them :)

    You are welcome!
Please let us know if you have any other questions or issues and enjoy the rest of your day :)

    Best regards,
    Yigit
