    Hi,
I can easily export the blog posts from my client’s original site (about 975 posts) and successfully import them into the new website they’re launching soon. It has a different theme installed (Divi). When I pull the blog up on the new site it has a ton of unwanted code that seems to be exporting from Enfold or it seems from the Avia layout blocks?. See attached screenshot.

Any way to just have the content from the post export and not the excess code along with it?

    Thanks,
    Nate

    Hey Nate,

Well, you probably could write some PHP script that would parse the content and remove Enfold’s shortcodes but we cannot really help you with this as this is out of the scope of the support that we provide here.

If you need further assistance please let us know.
    Best regards,

Thanks Victoria, I’ll keep researching. I’m not familiar enough with PHP scripts, but I did find this: https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-find-and-remove-unused-shortcodes-from-wordpress-posts/

    Hi agreatescape,

Well, that’s a good start but if you don’t have enough PHP experience you might want to hire a freelancer to help you with that.

    Best regards,
    Victoria
