    Liebes Kriesi-Team,
    ich habe im Widgetbereich eine neue Widget-Area (eine weitere Sidebar) angelegt. Ich habe dort das Widget “enfold latest news” eingefügt. Ich habe die Kategorien ausgewählt, die es anzeigen soll, aber die Auswahl wird nicht gespeichert. Sie übernimmt die Auswahl der blog-Sidebar. Was kann ich tun, dass ich dort meine eigenen Kategorien einstellen kann, bzw. das meine Auswahl gespeichert wird.

    Dear Kriesi team,
    I have created a new widget area (another sidebar) in the widget area. I added the widget “enfold latest news” there. I’ve selected the categories I want it to show, but the selection isn’t saved. It takes over the selection of the blog sidebar. What can I do that I can set my own categories there or that my selection is saved.

    I didn’t activate the sidebars (1-3) because of the error. I put the page URLs in the private box.
    On the page (no. 4 in private box) all categories are displayed although I only selected 2

    I see the 3 categories chosen in all widgets for the latest news. Which widget is where you set the 2 categories.

    Hi Victoria,
    I’m sending you a link to a screenshot with 3 sidebars. I cannot select a category from these 3 sidebars. Please try once in a sidebar, for example “Italian recipes”, to select the category “Italian recipes”, it does not work. I choose, and after saving the selection is gone again.
    I’ll send you another screenshot from the blog page “News” Here only 2 categories are selected and only these 2 categories should be visible on the page, but all are displayed.
    That shouldn’t be, it should only be displayed what I select.

    Hi,
    Thank you for the login, I see that your “Latest News” widgets don’t seem to be saving their settings, at least the visual cue is not showing. The widgets are showing items but I’m not sure if they are the correct categories or not because the element doesn’t show the categories in the source code. So I believe you are saying that the incorrect categories are showing?
    I tested the “Latest News” widget on my localhost and the correct categories show and the widgets show the visual cue as to which categories are picked.
    I’m not seeing any errors from your site in the browser console, have you tried disabling your plugins to see if this behavior continues?
