Hello, I got 2 questions here.
1. My Portfolio Grid images are not showing. It shows the title only.
2. And the Gallery is showing images while without ARROWS to view the next image.
WordPress 5.6, Enfold Child newest them. Backside automatically upgraded version.
Kindly please advise what should I do, please? Thanks a lot in advance.January 5, 2021 at 1:29 am #1270271Hey Jasminecxl,
Thank you for the inquiry.
1.) For some reason, the opacity of the grid image is set to 0 instead of 1. Please try to disable the Performance > File Compression settings temporarily, then reload the page. Or add this css code in the Quick CSS field to override the current style.
.js_active .grid-image { opacity: 1; }
2.) Are you referring to the lightbox window?

IsmaelJanuary 7, 2021 at 1:47 pm #1270864Hi Ismael,
Thanks for your kindly help.
1.) Problem is Solved. Thanks a lot.
2.) Yes, I mean the lightbox window in the below link. The product images Gallery.
I‘ve tried all the options under Gallery -Advanced -Link Settings -Image Link. But still failed to add the IMAGE ARROWS for pictures convenient visiting. Every time when I click a picture, it will show a new page with that picture only, without any arrows, and this picture page will cover the product info page. That’s not user friendly. What should I do please? Thank you!Best regards.

January 11, 2021 at 3:56 am #1271446Hi,
Thank you for the update.
Looks like the product gallery is not working correctly because of a script error in the merged file. Please try to disable the Performance > File Compression settings temporarily, then install the following plugin and set the jQuery script to the old or legacy version instead of the latest one.
// https://wordpress.org/plugins/enable-jquery-migrate-helper/

IsmaelJanuary 12, 2021 at 11:45 am #1271835Hi Ismael,
Thanks for your reply.
Will you please let me know how to set the jQuery to the old or legacy version, please? Thanks a lot.

January 13, 2021 at 6:47 am #1272037Hi Jasmine,
Please install the plugin which Ismael linked to. Then go to Tools->jQuery Migrate in the WordPress menu. You can change the jQuery version to 1.12.4 in there.

RikardJanuary 14, 2021 at 4:18 pm #1272436Hi Rikard,
Thanks for your reply. It works well.
Here I have two further questions:
1. Do I need to deactivate the Enable jQuery Migrate Helper OR enable the Performance > File Compression settings when the new version WordPress/ Enfold Child be updated in the future, please?
2. After I set the jQuery version to 1.12.4, there shows an orange color highlight notice at the top of my dashboard page that said: jQuery Migrate (Previously known: 1 Discovered on this page: 0). What does it mean, please? Shall I just ignore it? (I tried to paste a screenshot here but it seems it’s not allowed.)Thanks a lot to Kriesi team once again.
Best regards.
JasmineJanuary 15, 2021 at 8:34 am #1272612Hi,
1.) You might have to keep it enabled for now because there are a lot of plugins and custom scripts that are not yet fully compatible with the latest version of jQuery. The theme also contains old or deprecated functions that are no longer supported in the latest version, but they will be replaced with the latest ones gradually.
2.) Yes, just ignore it. It is a notice from the plugin that shows existing errors if there are any.
Best regards,
IsmaelJanuary 18, 2021 at 9:11 am #1273266Thanks, Ismael, it’s all clear now.
Please allow me to have another new question, is there any method or shortcode to make the portfolio grid image in below link into square instead of rectangle, please? Thank you!
Best regards.
JasmineJanuary 19, 2021 at 6:59 am #1273570Hi,
You are welcome! Regarding the other question, the size of the thumbnails used in the product page is 495x400px, which means that it is using the portfolio thumbnail. You could install the following plugin to adjust the default size of the portfolio thumbnail in the Settings > Media panel.
// https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-image-sizes/
