Hi,
we use Enfold, WordPress and the Autoptimize plugin in the latest version. If “JS optimization” is activated in Autoptimize, the page can no longer be opened in Internet Explorer. If the function is deactivated, the website will work again (also with preload function).
Which JavaScript file do we have to exclude in the plugin settings of Autoptimize so that the preloading also works in IE? We would not like to do without the browser caching of the JS files and just as reluctantly the preload image. So the plugin function to exclude JS files when compressing / merging should be the right solution.
The link is in Private Content. At the moment JS optimization is disabled in Autoptimize. I can give admin access to the website if necessary.
Thanks and best regards,
Mathuseo
Hey Marcel,
It’s difficult to answer your question, since we’re not really familiar with the plugin, and we don’t know which js file is causing the problem on IE. Could you try to explain how to reproduce the problem a bit further? Also please try reaching out to the plugin developers, as they should be in a better position to help you out with this.
Best regards,
Rikard
