Is the current version of Enfold (4.7.6.4) compatible with WordPress 5.6?
Best regards
OrianoDecember 15, 2020 at 9:51 am #1267402Hi Oriano,
It’s not yet fully compatible with WordPress 5.6, specifically the Alternate Menu for Mobile does not work properly.
If you aren’t using it then it should be good however I would suggest setting up a staging site first and try to update there first so there’s lesser risk on the live site.
You can follow the tutorial to setup a staging site: https://themeisle.com/blog/wordpress-staging-site/Best regards,

I have 8 sites in production with Enfold + 1 new site in preparation, and I would not have time to do “staging sites” for each site … I prefer to wait for your ok, to upgrade to WordPress 5.6.
That said, I hope you will release a fully WP compatible update soon and… please don’t leave us :(Best regards

I understand, there’s no announcement yet when the next release for 4.7.6.5 however the update should include patches for WP 5.6 :)

NikkoJanuary 4, 2021 at 3:31 pm #1270180Hi,
is there any release date for 4.7.6.5 yet so that enfold users can update to WP 5.6?
Thank you.– Oliver
January 4, 2021 at 4:29 pm #1270191The “solution” to use the jquery migrate button to fix the alternative menu is really not a great option as it is causing errors on editing pages for me – “spinning wheel syndrome”. It goes away when the plugin is turned off… So its a bit of a pain to manage when editing and going without a working menu on the front end.
Any timeframe for a compatible version of Enfold?
January 6, 2021 at 6:34 pm #1270684Hi,
We apologize for the inconvenience, the next release of Enfold should be around the second half/end of January.
The update would include a new feature, WordPress 5.6 fixes, PHP 8.0 fixes, and fixes to some of the issues that have been reported. :)Best regards,

February 10th, any news for the update yet? My WordPress Version is still outdated.

February 11, 2021 at 4:32 pm #1279798Hi,
Sorry about the delay. The latest version with the new global or custom template option and the jQuery fixes will be available very soon. Unfortunately, we still do not know the exact date of the release yet. If you are experiencing any issues related to jQuery, you will have to use the jQuery Migrate Helper plugin and set the library to the old version.
Thank you for your patience.
Best regards,
