    Hi,

two weeks ago i added a sitemap to google. I tried rank math, set it to index, noarchive.
Only 3 images are listed in google search. These 3 images are from the startpage out of a full-width-slider.

None of my article images are listed, very strange. Usually it took 1-2 days to get the first images indexed.

One more strange thing happened. My logo image was indexed for the first days, then disappeared from index?

Could you please check it, i really don’t know, what to do. I switched to yoast seo, but still my images from my articles are not indexed.
Also only a very few links are listed?

    kind regards Jak

    Hey Jak73,

The theme doesn’t have any functionality for setting your site to block indexing of any resources, so we can’t really answer your question. I would suggest that you wait for a bit longer, as search engines can be very slow in indexing content.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi Rikard,

    thanks for your reply!!!
Now google deindexed the last 3 image, which were listed.

Could you please have a short look. It also seems, the yoast sitemap is not fetching normal images from the layout builder on pages. On posts there are listed in the sitemap, but also not indexed?

It will put 3 links for example in the private section.

I never had that issue before. Usually images are listed very soon, after i give the sitemap to the google search console.

It seems i’m using very big image files (i actually would like to do this, to have good quality images) Is there a way to reduce the size with a DSGVO complying plugin?

    kind regards Jak

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

Looks like you are using a different SEO plugin and the number of images for each page are properly listed in the sitemap, including the images in the mentioned pages above. (see private field)

    Best regards,
    Ismael
