Hi there,
we are using the Post Slider to display upcoming events on our home page.How we want the post slider to work: Ideally, Upcoming Events will display the all future events in ascending order where soonest upcoming events are displayed fist.
How it’s working now: Events are displayed in decending order with only events from today forward showing (we don’t want to display events in the past).

I just want to confirm, using this custom code, can we adjust the post slider (and potentially the portfolio grid) to show event posts in ascending order from today’s date so that only events in the future starting with closest dates are displayed?

Sorry for the very late reply, I believe the code from the documentation should work, but you’ll have to try it to see if it works as you intend it to. Is there a staging or development version of the site where you can test? If not try checking your webhost cPanel, some offer a one click staging site option, this is a option in most cPanels to create a staging clone of your site so you can test on it and your live site will stay up and running.
