    Hey Support,
I love to use the Content Element “Page Content” to “reuse” Content once build.

Up to now I have set the page to be reused as “private” so this pages cannot be found by the Search function. Now I have an installation where private pages are not shown on the pages where I use the “Page Content” Element. I can select them, but after saving the privat page disappears.
I have no idea what is wrong. Could you please help me.

    Hey Oversberg,

Where can we see and reproduce the problem you are having?

    Best regards,

Thank you for the answer. Please see the Data in the private Content

    Hi,

Thanks for that. I was unsure if private pages had worked in the past, but our developer says that the page always needed to public for this to work. We might implement a check in a future version though, so that only publicly published pages will be listed in the dropdown.

    Best regards,

    Hi,

Thanks for the update. I can’t say if this is a bug or not, but that is the way it works in the latest version of the theme. Nothing has been changed in the behaviour of this element according to our developers. I have been discussing the behaviour with them though, and they will try to find a solution for it. It should hopefully be included in the next release of the theme.

I don’t have a solution to offer you at this time, but please reply to this thread so that it gets added back to our support queue, and I’ll let you know once we have a solution.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

To be on the safe side I will set the recycled pages of the other installations to public and noindex. Or do you have an alternative suggestion ? The pages should not be indexed.

    Hi,

Thanks for the update. If you set them to noindex, then they shouldn’t be indexed by search engines. I don’t have any other solutions for you at this time unfortunately.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
