    Hi Kriesi,

    I’ve tried to install a demo using enfold / Import Demo (Health demo). Unfortunately it didn’t work.
    The following message was displayed: Importing didnt work! You might want to try reloading the page and then try again.
    Repeated reloading was unsuccessful. Even after deleting and reinstalling WordPress & Endfold, there was no result. How can I import the choosen files?

    Moreover, I found only enfold.zip among the downloaded files, enfold-child.zip is not available. I could nout upload Enfold.zip on the admin site, only through FTP is possible.

    Please help me asap!

    Hey Tajmi2,

    Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.

    1. Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
    2. Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
    3. Click ” Create New “.
    4. Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
      ( to be sure that we have enough time to debug ).
    5. Click ” Submit “.
    6. You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.

    When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
    If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create an admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.

    Hi Tajmi2,

    The backend seems to time-out before it can finish uploading and installing the theme (which most likely is the same issue for importing the demo).
    Can you try to increase PHP time limit (from 30 to 300) and Max input time (from 60 to 300)? (you may need to ask for assistance from your hosting provider)
    You can see these values if you go to the link in private content (make sure you’re logged in) then click on the Server tab.

    Hi team,

    I experiment the same trouble. But my max input time is set to 360.
    I join an access in private content field and my enfold licence/token is up to work.

    I’m trying to use Enfold Shop demo and the message “Importing didnt work! You might want to try reloading the page and then try again” is my friend to after many atempts.

    I hope you can do something or explain me what is the problem.

    Hi michaelcrofte,

    Thanks for giving us admin access.
    I have tried manual import using XML files however it fails as well and just returns 404, an alternate solution for it is to try to import the demo on a local server like Xampp and move the demo site to your live server using a WordPress migration plugin.

    Hi Nikko,

    Excuse the strict side of my answer, but I confess that when I pay for a license on a paid theme I expect it to work which saves me time. I will take as much time doing this local migration / installation as I will copy the demo “by hand”. If I don’t make a mistake.

    Thank you for trying to solve my problem.

    Good luck with the development of the theme.
