I re-created all my Google Maps API’s and saved the new ones on my websites. But on all but one websites running Enfold, I get the ExpiredKeyMapError or RefererNotAllowedMapError.
If I re-open the Google services in the Enfold settings, the new key is visible.
So I contacted Google Maps support, and they say, the websites still use the old, deleted key.
There’s no caching active and I waited several days, but nothing changed.
So it looks like the proper new key is saved in the backend, but the website in frontend still uses the old key.
Can you have a look at this problem? I added login credentials of one of the websites in the private content.
Hey sberendss,
Do you have any plugin that is using the api too? Or do you have it hardcoded somewhere?
Best regards,
Victoria
Victoria, thanks fot picking up this issue.
As far as I know, the API key isn’t saved in any other plugin. And I’m quite sure, while I experience the same issue on different website, with different configurations.
Sorry for the login problem. I temporary disabled the blocking plugin so you can login now.

Victoria,
please also have a look in the source code of the web page (see also private content). This contains the old API, while the saved data in the backend Enfold settings shows the new API key.
I hope you find the cause and solution asap.
Thanks!

Victoria, thanks for solving this issue. Only problem is that I’m feeling stupid right now.
I was sure it wasn’t due to other plugins, wile I experienced exactly the same problem on 4 very different websites. And all 4 use different other plugins, installed by another admin.
Anyway, you solved the issue. Sorry for spending your time on this.
Kind regards,
Sytse
