Hi,
I am receiving the following error on my form:
Sorry, but the session time for this page has expired. Please reload the page.
It seems to work in Chrome but on Edge I get the error?
I have a form on the home page and the contact us page.
Any assistance would be appreciated
October 16, 2020 at 7:14 am #1253159Hey John,
Thank you for the inquiry.
We managed to send a message using the form after answering one of the random puzzles from Google ReCAPTCHA; we did not get any errors. Is the issue random?
Best regards,
IsmaelOctober 16, 2020 at 11:48 am #1253237Thanks for getting back to me.
That is weird.. I just tried it on chrome and Edge and get the error?
“Sorry, but the session time for this page has expired. Please reload the page.”
I’m not sure what to ?
Cheers
JohnOctober 20, 2020 at 7:58 am #1254245Hi,
Thank you for the update.
This is what we get whenever we use the form on Chrome Windows 10.

Did you install any browser extension? Please try to disable those extensions, or try to test the form on a different device.

IsmaelOctober 20, 2020 at 11:33 pm #1254493Hi Ismael,
Many thanks for checking once more.
I have since disabled the Google ReCaptcha and gone back to the Enfold captcha.
I realize I am missing out on inquiries as I have just found a note dating back to mid September from a protective client as they stated:
“its not letting me put forward an enquiry in “Get in touch” just to let you know..”
Something is broken here and its not any plugin causing the issue. I have tried this multiple times and get the errors. It is odd. I have seen on your forum other having a similar sporadic issue.
I do hope this is not an issue across other sites I have using Enfold and V2 Google ReCaptcha.
Cheers
JohnOctober 22, 2020 at 4:45 am #1254821Hi,
Is there a staging or development version of the site? We might have to check this further and see if we could recreate the issue. Maybe we will encounter an error or something that might help us identify the issue. Unfortunately, we could not reproduce the issue on our end — the Google ReCAPTCHA was still enabled in the site before we sent the form.
Thank you for your patience.
Best regards,
IsmaelOctober 22, 2020 at 11:16 pm #1255106Hi Ismael,
Just created one for you to play around with. Refer PC.
I have left the Google ReCaptcha off on this staging site.
Cheers

October 24, 2020 at 6:15 am #1255381Hi,
Thank you for the info.
We tried logging in to the dashboard but the user account above seems to be incorrect. Please check the info carefully so that we could check the issue further.

For some reason I reset the password and it too didn’t work?
Please try the temporary link below.

JohnOctober 26, 2020 at 5:53 am #1255612Hi,
Thank you for following up.
We can now access the dashboard properly and as a quick test, we activated the Google ReCAPTCHA V2 version from the Google Services panel, and also enabled it directly in the contact form element, but we are still not able to reproduce the issue. The spam protection widget shows up as expected and we are able to successfully send the form after bypassing the puzzle widget.
Please check the screenshot of the home page on Edge browser.

We did find an error from Google Analytics in the console but we don’t really think it has anything to do in this case.
Best regards,
IsmaelOctober 26, 2020 at 6:33 am #1255620Thanks Ismael for looking into this further.
I’ll leave it off the live site for now and will test the staging site to see if I can replicate there as well.
Cheers
