A site I’m working with needs the simple cookie consent notification. When I enable the cookie consent messages, I see a lot more than just the cookie consent message bar. It appears that the advanced cookie options are showing, even though I haven’t enabled them. Here’s what I see:
This behavior happens with all plugins disabled. Is there a theme setting conflict happening? Please assist. I have created a temporary admin account and added that info in the private content.
Thank you!

Hey AJDesignCo,
Thank you for the inquiry.
Looks like the issue is related to the minification or Performance > File Compression settings. The consent bar works fine when the compression settings are disabled. Please try to update the theme to the latest version (4.7.6.4), then enable the file compression settings again.
Best regards,
Ismael
Good to know! Thanks for that. I updated and turned off minification. I don’t see the problem, but I also don’t see the notification either. Is there something I still haven’t set up right?
I deleted the cache after making the settings changes. I see the avia-cookie-consent elements in the page, but I don’t see the cookie consent bar rendered in Chrome, Safari, or Brave.
Hi,
Thank you the update.
It seems to be working properly on Chrome Windows 10; the privacy modal automatically pops up when we load the page. Did you remove the cookies from the local storage? Please remove the cookies and the browser cache, then reload the page again.
This is what we see on our end.
