    Hi Team
    I was having trouble with the page blocks on a page I needed to edit – (they were not there), so I updated all the plugins, and the PHP to 7.4 was 7.2. I also tried to update the theme, this is where I ran into trouble, it would not update because the token was invalid, so I created a new token in theme forest and tried to enter it but the options panel failed and would not save, asking me to reload the page.

    I then went into cpanel file manager and uploaded a fresh install of enfold – (I run child theme), the site is running fine – but now I am unable to edit any of the Theme Options. That column is blank if I try to navigate to them using the dropdown nothing happens. APPEARANCE/THEMES tells me that there is an update to the theme – however I am unable to do anything.

    I am also now unable to restore the backups these also fail.

    Can you please advise.

    Im not sure why its not laoding at your end – I use firefox and chrome and both work fine – there was a duo security on the site which I have disabled temporarily – can you try again?

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update. I’m getting the same results as Victoria on my end as well unfortunately, in both Chrome and Firefox. Please check if you are blocking IP ranges or something similar.

    Sorry I dont know what you mean exactly?
    I have made the site SSL but I still do not have windows to edit on the about page.
    I tried to create a new page and copy the content across (ie make a new about us page) but I cannot edit new panels either – the elements drag into the page but when I try to edit them it hangs with no option to enter copy or images etc.

    Thanks for the update. Please try to install this plugin and clear all WordPress transients using it, to see if that helps: https://wordpress.org/plugins/transients-manager/

    Hi Rikard

    I have installed and deleted the transients as you asked however I still have the same errors – unable to update any panels on the page or even see the panels on the page.

    ALSO the Theme options are now available but I cannot save anything if I try to change anything. I get the error: “SAving didnt work. Please reload the page and try again” obviously this does not work either.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update. What happens if you disable all plugins? You could also try to completely remove the theme, then upload a fresh copy to see if that helps.

    Hi Rikard

    Thank you – the pages are working again now – I can edit everything as I would usually expect to.
    I deactivated 1 plugin – “Events Planner” which is no longer required. I also deactivated the “Classic editor plugin” which I installed after I could not edit the Themes Options to “classic editor” and after I discovered that I could not edit any of the page panels.
