Hey Marcus,

Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.

Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
Click ” Create New “.
Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( to be sure that we have enough time to debug ).
Click ” Submit “.
You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.

When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create an admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.

Hi MarcusJeroch,

I understand that’s fair enough.
Upon inspecting further images for lightbox are not found.
Please refer to the image link in private content.
And check your uploads folder if those images are still existing otherwise you can try to regenerate them through some plugin.

Your answer is completely irrelevant.
Did you really checked the matter…deeper than just the obvious surface?????
I already regenerated the images BEFORE i started this thread.

Please ask one of your collegues to overtake the support in this case.
I would like to see @yigit or @dude taking over

If that does not help, please go to Enfold theme options > Performance tab and toggle “Responsive Images” option and check if that helps.
As Nikko mentioned, certain image sizes are loading fine but certain are not loading so I believe it might be related to responsive images setting.

Do we talk about the same issue?
1: The lightbox-link leads to: marcusjeroch.de/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/Presse-2-Kopie-1584×1030.jpg (NOT existing)
2: But if you inspect the code the link says: https://marcusjeroch.de/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/Presse-2-Kopie-705×458.jpg (existing)
3: The original file is online: https://marcusjeroch.de/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/Presse-2-Kopie.jpg but regenerating images/thumbnails does not help
4: Responsive images was already enabled. I disabled. No changes

Yes, we are talking about the same issue.

It would be great if we could login to dashboard and check the backend but we understand that you might not want to share login credentials. Without logins we can only guess though.
Could you please try de-activating all active plugins and check if that helps?

Please replace the content of functions.php file of your child theme with the one I shared in private content field. It fixes 1 syntax error, closes a missing comment tag and adds a function to display fullsize images in lightbox.

Everything seems to be fine in the backend and while not being sure, issue might be related to your database.
However loading fullsized images in lightbox solves the issue and on the bright side, makes images sharper.

Could you please review your copy site and then update functions.php file on your live site as well?

Fact is, that it loads a new version of the image, right?

So did your solution created a new version of every image used in the gallery?

No, it actually uses /Presse-2-Kopie.jpg in lightbox so it does not create a new version, but displays original uploaded image instead of displaying a scaled version :)

You can simply check it by “Open link in new tab” and see which image is loading.

Hi,

Images that are bigger than 2560px are scaled at 2560px by WordPress – https://make.wordpress.org/core/2019/10/09/introducing-handling-of-big-images-in-wordpress-5-3/. Full size of Presse-5-Kopie.jpg image is 746x3425px so it is “scaled” :)

One more thing:
Try to navigate (in lightbox) from picture to picture by using your keys or the arrows:
You will stay always in the same gallery.

Is there a way to “jump” from gallery to gallery?
If not: Is there a way to filter images like with portfolios?
If not: How can i sort images by theme, like i tried here, without loosing usability (like actually)?:
