Hi Enfold Team,
I’m optimizing my wordpress + enfold 4.7.6.3 installation including child theme at the moment. When using google page speed as well as gtmetrix speed test I realized that integrated file compression within enfold theme does not work. Now I got it temporarily working with “autoptimize”. Attached screenshot show the situation without autoptimize when activating file compression in performance options of the child theme. I have also studied your “Scoring 100/100 in Google PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix PageSpeed and Yslow” and checked some older post from other users already which did not fix my issue. Could you please help me?
In addition I tried to lower loading time. But I’m running out of ideas now after optimizing my pictures via photoshop and afterwards via “smush” plugin.
Thanks
Hey Khanh,
The built in functionality will compress theme resources, not plugins etc. It’s working as it should, the first line in your screenshot proves that it does.
Best regards,
Rikard
Hi Rikard,
thanks for the information. If I use “Autoptimize” now. Should I also turn on the internal compression in the enfold theme in parallel?
Happy Monday
Hi thasiafoods,
You can use both, of course.
If you need further assistance please let us know.
Best regards,
Victoria
