Hi all!!
I imported all the media library (images) from my old wordpress to the new wordpress with Enfold theme.
The importing/exportig process run well and all the images are in the media library. Also, you can see the images in the posts when you get them through wordpress back-end.However, when you visit the post by visiting the web, the posts are not showing.
How can i fix it?. Any help about that?
¡Thanks!
September 20, 2020 at 4:39 am #1247048Hey Rubén,
Please include an admin login in the Private Content area so we can investigate.
I assume that you imported the images with a WordPress created XML file, please also link to this so we can check.Best regards,

September 21, 2020 at 1:58 pm #1247337Hi,
Thanks for the login, I see that the images that result in a 404 on your site are cropped images, that is they are image sizes that are created by the theme or WordPress. So since you are importing posts and media from a different WordPress theme, I imagine that the media import was for the full-size images, which you see in the media library, but the posts use cropped images that were not imported or created by Enfold.
So the solution is to copy the “uploads” directory via FTP from your old site to your new site, this will add all of the cropped images to your new site.Best regards,

September 24, 2020 at 6:22 pm #1248247Hi Mike!!
After a careful consideration my hosting support service to,d me that they are not able to help me with that. They consider this thing is about technical set up and worpress configuration which is out of his range.
I know, ti sounds pretty unbeliveable and disapponting…
So, it seems you are my only option for help.
What can i do to solve this issue?

September 25, 2020 at 11:58 am #1248395Hi,
Please include FTP access in the Private Content area, or your webhost file manager access, such as cPanel, for both sites.Best regards,
MikeSeptember 25, 2020 at 12:05 pm #1248400Hi mike!!
Both sites are under the same Cpanel account.
So, do you need the access to my cPanel?.. also what other information you may need?..
domain from import is croquetadona.com
domain to export is comunicaciongastronomia.esSeptember 25, 2020 at 1:28 pm #1248441Hi,
Thank you, if both are in the same cPanel, then please provide access and I can assist.
I would only need access to your export domain backend to check if this works correctly, which I believe is still good from above.Best regards,
MikeSeptember 25, 2020 at 1:41 pm #1248443Ok… on private content
Thank you so much!!
September 26, 2020 at 2:13 pm #1248668Hi,
Thank you for the login, one challenge was that on your original site the media was organized into mouth & year directories, but your new site didn’t. I was able to download your files and re-organize and upload to your new site, all seem to be working now, please clear your browser cache and check.Best regards,
MikeSeptember 28, 2020 at 11:37 am #1248959Hi Mike!
Thank you so much for the work done.
I checked it and all seems ok. However, i have a question for you. I was using less than 1Gb of my hosting space from total available of 2Gb. Now i see that all the space it is almost full (1,7Gb).
The question that comes up to my mind is… Has been the images duplicated?… Because i had more than enough hosting space disc available and now it is almost full. How come?!
Thank you.
September 28, 2020 at 1:02 pm #1248976Hi,
I moved 1769 images, about 208mb, but since all of your uploads images are in the same directory there are no exact matches, but there are probably some sizes that your theme won’t be using, but I don’t see how it could be 1gb?
I did login again and removed the zip archive of the images moved, so that should save you about 200mb.
I also checked your Disk usage, after removing the zip archive and see that “public_html” is 876.24mb, this is for all of your domains, unfortunately, Disk usage doesn’t let you dig deeper into the structure.Best regards,
