HI there,
I made a contact form according to my needs and it has a lot of fields. I receive emails from it, but do not receive the autoresponder.
Then I checked the case by using the default contact form, where I only changed the labels – all worked well.
I assume the size of my custom form prevents the autoresponder to be sent.
I also checked some online resources:

Thank you for the inquiry.
Did you remove the default email field from the contact form? The autoresponse email should be sent to that address if it exists. If not, the contact the form will not send the autoresponse, so the contact form should have at least one email address field.

Thank you very much for your support and I apologies for my delayed reply.
I found the solution: “Form Element Validation” should be set to “Valid E-Mail address” in order an autoresponder email is sent to the user.
