Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.
- Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
- Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
- Click ” Create New “.
- Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( to be sure that we have enough time to debug ). - Click ” Submit “.
- You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.
When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create an admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.Best regards,

Thanks for giving us admin access.
I have checked it and noticed that the images have been corrupted, I have replaced the ones in the builder.
Clear the browser cache and you’ll see it get fixed now.
However, I would recommend to re-install Enfold as there are lots of those icons in different folders that are corrupted as well.Best regards,
NikkoSeptember 18, 2020 at 10:26 am #1246719Hi Nikko! Many thanks for the help in fixing the problem. Do you think I should download a new copy from themeforest to rule out the possibility that it went wrong with the previous download? Sincerely, CJ //
September 18, 2020 at 11:35 am #1246742Hi oholm,
That could be a possibility or it’s during the update that some issues arise.
Can you tell us how you update the theme last time? maybe we can have an educated guess as to the possible cause.Best regards,
NikkoSeptember 18, 2020 at 12:26 pm #1246778Hi Nikko
I updated through FTP (FileZilla) by overwriting the existing version which was Enfold (version 4.6.2). Since it could not be done via the tool “update” in Enfold console under WordPress 5.5
Best regards CJ//
September 18, 2020 at 1:16 pm #1246811Hi CJ,
Can you try this method:
- Login to ThemeForest and download the Enfold theme.
- Right-click over the downloaded zip file and extract/unzip it.
- It should generate a new folder, open it and look for the enfold folder
- Right-click the enfold folder then zip it, here’s a tutorial on how to create a zip file in windows: https://www.howtogeek.com/668409/how-to-zip-and-unzip-files-on-windows-10/ (this should create enfold.zip)
- Log in to WordPress as and Admin.
- Install and activate this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/
- Go to Appearance > Themes.
- Click on the ADD NEW button.
- Click on the UPLOAD THEME button.
- Click BROWSE and choose enfold.zip file
- Click the INSTALL NOW button
Best regards,

I saw that with the WP 5.5 update, this functionality as the plugin previously did (Update Theme and Plugins from Zip File) is now a part of the WordPress core. I chose to update via the wordpress dashboard -theme, add new theme, then install “overwrite existing installation” in WordPress instead. Everything works now as it should.
Many thanks for the help and guiding to fixing the problem.
Best Regards CJ//
