    Hi,

    I am using a Child Theme and I know how to update the enfold theme through Appearance—>Themes. Make the MAIN enfold theme active and delete it and install the new version and to never update the child theme.

    My question is, I would rather update my theme through Theme Options and enter the tokens etc. But I am on a Child Theme, If I update this way, will it update my child theme and lose everything on my child theme? or will it update the MAIN enfold theme and will be safe. See my screenshot below.

    Hi rzurxn,

    When you update the Theme even if you are using a Child theme, only the Enfold theme (parent) will be updated.
    The child theme won’t be updated so any tweaks in there will be safe.
