    Hallo,

    ich habe auf meiner Blog-Übersichtsseite das Inhalts-Element “Blog Beiträge” eingebunden und das Blog Raster-Layout auf “Titel und Textausschnitt + Weiterlesen-Link” eingestellt. Auf der Blog-Übersichtsseite werden Titel + Kommentare + Datum + Weiterlesen-Link ausgegeben. Es fehlt der Textausschnitt. Wie kann ich diesen einfügen?

    Ich arbeite mit dem Erweiterten Layout-Editor.

    Hey dradoering,

    Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.

    1. Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
    2. Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
    3. Click ” Create New “.
    4. Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
      ( to be sure that we have enough time to debug ).
    5. Click ” Submit “.
    6. You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.

    When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
    If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create an admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.

    Hi Caroline,

    Thanks for giving us admin access.
    The reason why excerpt is not showing up is that the posts are using the Advanced Builder.
    To fix this you’ll need to manually put the summary in the Excerpt field.
    I have added the excerpt in one of the post page (link in private content) and it seems to work well.
    Just do the same for other posts :)

    Hi Nikko,

    thank you for your quick reply. The description you added appears on the blog overview page, great!

    While researching I often read that there must be an excerpt field, my problem is: I just can’t find it! Not even now that you have already filled the excerpt field. Can you please send me a screenshot of the field in the backend?

    I did not know that it was necessary to select the “excerpt” in the screen options (top right) of the classic editor first. I found it, thank you!
