Site uses Estatik plugin which also uses google api key. The theme key and plugin key are in conflict. When i remove the key from theme and disable it, there appears to remain something getting loaded that hinders the plugin usage of google apis. If i change to wp twenty-x theme, i can use it successfully.

I’m wondering if there is a way to prevent this from happening. This happens on both enfold core and child themes.
    Thx

    Hey swampboy,

Please try the “Disable Google Maps” option and see if the issue gets resolved.

I did. I also tried removing the key and disabling. Neither one worked.

This isn’t a critical issue anymore because I instructed the customer to switch to the 2015 theme make the changes and switch back which she did and everything was fine. It would be nice to have it resolved but this was a small task that I was doing just to help someone out so I’m not going to pursue it further but if you do have a resolution and can let me know that would be great otherwise I’m going to drop the matter.
    thank you

    Hi swampboy,

Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.

    1. Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
    2. Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
    3. Click ” Create New “.
    4. Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( to be sure that we have enough time to debug ).
    5. Click ” Submit “.
    6. You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.

When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create an admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.

    Best regards,
    Nikko
