    I have a bug in my Editor within the text blocks.
    In “Visual” in don’t see anything anymore, in “Text” I see the HTML code and if I click on “Update” without any changes all of the HTML code in visable on the website.

    Can someone help?

    Hey MrJoscha,

    Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.

    1. Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
    2. Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
    3. Click ” Create New “.
    4. Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
      ( to be sure that we have enough time to debug ).
    5. Click ” Submit “.
    6. You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.

    When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
    If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create an admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.

    Hi MrJoscha,

    Thanks for giving us admin access.
    I have checked it and you’re still using Enfold 4.3.2 which is outdated and not fully compatible with WordPress 5.5.
    Please update it first to the latest version (4.7.6.3) and make sure to have a backup first.

    Hi MrJoscha,

    Theme Updates won’t work in that version because envato has changed the system from using API keys to using personal tokens.
    Please try to install and activate this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/ and do the following steps:

    1. Make sure this plugin is installed and activated.
    2. Download zip file of your theme’s most recent version.
    3. Log in to WordPress as and Admin and go to Appearance > Themes.
    4. Click on the ADD NEW button.
    5. Click on the UPLOAD THEME button.
    6. Click BROWSE and choose your zip file you downloaded.
    7. Click the INSTALL NOW button.

    If it fails for some reason, you can do manual updating via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-update/#update-via-ftp (I would suggest via cPanel since FTP is slow)

    The first way doesn’t work. I get an error message: “The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the stylesheet style.css. Theme installation failed.”

    I’m using a Child theme.

    Is there any other way? I don’t understand the whole FDP thing.

    Hi MrJoscha,

    The zip file you have downloaded from wordpress includes other files, please unzip it in your computer.
    Then it should generate a folder of the same name, please open it and you should see an enfold folder, please zip this folder.
    Then when you upload the theme, use the enfold.zip file instead of the one you downloaded from Enfold.
