I just want to use my full size logo so the image is high res., but every time I change a page or make a change to the header section, the logo automatically resizes to 300×100, which degrades the quality and completely throws off the proportions. I even tried re-uploading the logo full size after every single change, and that doesn’t even work when I go to other pages on my site. This is such a basic functionality and should not be happening with such an established theme… Really ridiculous that I’ve wasted an hour of my day on something so dumb.
The limitation to the outer dimension from 300px to 100px can be changed via Quick css or by selecting the header height.
When inserting the logo, did you pay attention to the calculated size of the file you are using? :

Did you try the suggestion posted by @guenni007 and did you have any luck with it? If not then you can copy the URL to your original image and paste it into the logo field in the theme options.
