Hi there,
after recent update to WP5.5 and Enfold 4.7.6.3, all our embedded vimeo videos are showing as black boxes.Weird thing is that they work fine if you are logged in or if you embed directly using iframe, problem is only with the enfold media element.
I’ve tried disabling all plugins, problem persists.
They were working fine before update
Any ideas?Steve
August 28, 2020 at 4:28 am #1241384Hey voodoosteve,
Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.
- Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
- Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
- Click ” Create New “.
- Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( to be sure that we have enough time to debug ). - Click ” Submit “.
- You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.
When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create an admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.Best regards,

The link you gave won’t give access, it should look something like the link in private content.
Best regards,

Thanks, I tried the same thing on my end and didn’t get the same results as you.
Can you try to switch to PHP 7.3?Best regards,
NikkoAugust 28, 2020 at 3:15 pm #1241599Hi Nikko,
Can I ask what you are seeing (screen shot) – did you try visiting the page while not logged in (it displays fine if you are)Also – what changes did you make? – the home page had reverted to blog view and the footer is messed up

August 28, 2020 at 3:28 pm #1241609Hi Steve,
I apologize for that, I have switched to the parent theme for about 5 seconds and quickly reverted to check when not logged in how it shows since I also checked using incognito mode, I didn’t notice there was a change and I deeply apologize for the mistake.
I tried to reproduce the issue on my local server with the same WordPress version and Enfold version (logged in and not) and didn’t show the same results even with the same privacy settings.
Can you create a staging site instead? where we can try to make changes without affecting your live site.
It’s basically just a clone to your live site, here’s a tutorial on how to do it: https://themeisle.com/blog/wordpress-staging-site/Best regards,

August 31, 2020 at 5:10 pm #1242256Hi voodoosteve,
I apologize for the delayed response.
I have reviewed it again and tested with different settings but could not reproduce the same issue on my local site.
Can you give us FTP access for the staging site? so we can do some tweaks and also enable WP debugging.
Also please increase the access if it’s set for few days.Best regards,

Thank you for your patience.
This plugin was causing the issue: Anti-Spam by CleanTalk
Specifically, the Capture buffer is turned on in Advanced Setting, after turning it off, it works fine.
As long as that setting is turned off, it works properly.Best regards,
