Updating to the current versions of wp and enfold broke the website.
    – The sidebar is supposed to be on the right side, but it moved below the content.
    – Also the background color of the sidebar is not correct anymore, which makes text hard to read. It’s supposed to be white, but now it’s blue.

    Hey RalfSkirr,

Credentials did not work for me. Could you please update the credentials?

    Best regards,

    Hi RalfSkirr,

You have the footer.php file in your child theme. Is it from the same version as the parent theme? If not you need to update it in the child theme and then make necessary changes in that file.

    Best regards,

When I update certain webpages that I have with Enfold, part of the content disappear. I then have to back with revisions, so that I won’t loose content and design that I already have spent so much time on creating. I have issues with several webpages, and seems like nothing will work.
If I edit a page, upload a photo etc. then suddenly 3/4 of the content on that page disappear. it is very annoying.

    Hi SF-media,

It’s likely due to open markup in your content just before the layout starts breaking, please try checking for anything like that in your content.

If you need further help then please open a new thread and include WordPress admin login details in private so that we can have a closer look at your site. Also please point out which pages you are having this problem on.

    Best regards,

Just an update for everyone. It turned out the source of the problem was the wp Typography plugin that I had added to the site freshly without noticing the broken sidebar on pages.

    https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/wp-typography/

When I disable it, the sidebar displays correctly again. I’m using this plugin on several sites without problems, but with this site it breaks the layout. Tried different settings for the plugin, but couldn’t get it to work.

So I’m simply deleting it and this issue is resolved.
