The scroll arrows and social icons are all showing up as squares on my site.
I have already added the following to the .htaccess file:
<FilesMatch “.(ttf|otf|woff)$”>
<IfModule mod_headers.c>
Header set Access-Control-Allow-Origin “*”
</IfModule>
</FilesMatch>
GoDaddy says it is not anything they can help with.
Hey ginnywills,
They are being blocked by the browser since they are being served via a CDN, please see private. Please try reaching out to your CDN service to see if they can help you out.
Best regards,
Rikard
How does that work when I am not using a CDN service? It is hosted at GoDaddy and they were not any help – said there was nothing they could do.
Hi,
I’m not sure how that works to be honest with you, but your site is using a CDN service and the resource being blocked is served from the CDN. That is why it’s being blocked by the browser. If your hosting can’t help out with that then I would try to find a better hosting provider, but I guess you could reach out to them again with the info I’ve given you here. This has nothing to do with the theme you are running, it’s a security measure in browsers which is blocking the file from being loaded.
Best regards,
Rikard
