Hello, I’m using the WordPress plugin Google Tag Manager for WordPress and Enfold.
I want to update my Privacy and Cookies settings but I can;t find how to disable the plugin plugin Google Tag Manager for WordPress If someone does not accept all cookies. If i set the field google services and use [av_privacy_google_tracking] it’s working just fine.
I tried to make an custom field : [av_privacy_custom_cookie cookie_name="NID"]Google Tag Manager[av_privacy_custom_cookie] but that isn’t working.
Than I tried to make an customfield _gat_UA-117796574-1 [av_privacy_custom_cookie cookie_name="UA-117796574-1"]Google Tag Manager[av_privacy_custom_cookie] but that isn’t working also.
Than iI tried [av_privacy_custom_cookie cookie_name="gtm_auth"]Google Tag Manager[av_privacy_custom_cookie] and still no results.
Even if i set Enfold on “do not accept and hide notification” even that isn’t working.
Can you please help me with this issue?
Kind regards.
Rene
Hey janhofmanveiligheidsopleidinge,
Sorry for the late reply, I installed the Google Tag Manager for WordPress plugin on a test site and didn’t find any cookies, it turns out GTM doesn’t use cookies, the tools that you implemented via GTM (for example, Google Analytics) are using cookies.
Which is why when you use [av_privacy_google_tracking] it’s working just fine.
Best regards,
Mike
