Theme not working as it did before update and website now looks terrible

Hello,

My website worked perfectly and looked exactly how I wanted it to look until I went in and tried to edit something.

First, the editing console had completely changed. So now, instead of very easy drag and drop, everything is in code, which I have no understanding of. I tried to remove a small item of text, this changed the whole theme so now, instead of having a beautiful home page, I have a basic ugly home page. I can not get it to look how it was before and it did not back up to what it was before. It is as if a whole year is missing in the backup files.

I need this to revert to drag and drop back of house and its original functionality, look and feel otherwise I will have to move off this platform and request a refund as it is affecting my business. Please advise asap.
