    Hallo Enfold-Team,

    Hallo Klaus,

So you are going to use the theme on a development server first, then transfer it to a live site and you are worried about the licensing? If so then you don’t have to worry, it’s totally fine to use it on a development server and not have a proper license for it. The live site is all you have to worry about.

    Hello Rikard,
thanks for the quick and cheerful answer. My question is also mainly about whether I can also run the theme updates on the development server and activate the private key for this. Will there be problems with the licensing if I convert the whole CMS completely to the provider? Or should I activate the private key only on the “live site”, as you call it?

    Greetings from Berlin

    Hi Klaus,

Thanks for the update. Will the development site be publicly accessible or not? If not then I don’t think there should be any problems with using the key on both sites. I would advice you to simply try it out, if there should be any problems then we can help you out with it on the support forum.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
