Hello,
I am currently using the Enfold theme on my wordpress website. On the home page I have a full screen slider with a picture and a little text.
I recently have bought the Everest Timeline wordpress plugin because I really wanted a nice horizontal timeline on the home page.
When I place the everest timeline (by adding a codeblok and pasting the shortcode of the timeline) under the full screen slider on the home page, the slider breaks and is pretty ugly and isn’t full screen anymore.
I was wondering what I am doing wrong and why it messes up the slider?
Hey khuberts,
I couldn’t see anything like that on the page you linked to, where can we see the actual problem? Please note that the theme cannot be compatible with all third party plugins.
Best regards,
Rikard
Sorry I removed the slider. When you check the link now you will see the page I meant in my question.
Hi,
The theme has its own timeline element which is available in the advance layout builder. Have you tried it?
Looks like the plugin prematurely closes the sections or containers in the page and breaks the layout. Have you tried placing the text block containing the plugin shortcode inside a Grid Row element with a single cell? Does it work correctly when using the default editor?
Please contact the plugin authors for additional assistance.
Best regards,
Ismael
Hi,
Thanks for the advice! It did not work with the Grid Row element.
I did not know the theme had it’s own timeline. I will use the timeline integrated in the theme as it works perfect for what I wanted to do with it.
Thanks for the help!
