Hello,
I am having an issue with the Fullwidth Easy Slider on the homepage of my website.
Need to Know:
– There are 5 slides
– Slides are set to slide horizontally to the next slide after 6 seconds
– When moving from slide 1 to slide 2 the images change instantly and then stop
– When on slide one you can select a random slide by pressing to circle at the bottom of the slider, but then it locks up just like it does when transitioning from slide 1 to slide 2What I’ve Tried:
– Disabled all extensions/plugins
– Updated WordPress
– Updated ThemeResult:
– Still happensI’m adding a URL as well as admin credentials in the ‘Private Content’ box below.

Hello. It’s been four days without a repsone and I was wondering if anyone had gotten a chance to look at this. I’ve provided admin login information in my initial request.June 16, 2020 at 2:56 pm #1223051Hi mikeack,

VictoriaJune 16, 2020 at 4:58 pm #1223115Do you mean both of those PHP files? If so, no, I haven’t. Would replacing those with new files from the theme help fix the issue?
June 16, 2020 at 5:00 pm #1223118Im having similar issues with my site today – Fullwidth easy sliders are not displaying, neither are the masonry grids i use for latest news.

Well, you need to update them in any case, there can be some changes in the new version and the code is missing like.

RikardJune 18, 2020 at 10:30 pm #1223892Hi Victoria,
I followed your instructions and updated both of the PHP files, cleared my browser’s cache and it still does the same thing. It stops as the second slide comes into view and doens’t load the description. Then the whole slider locks up. Can you please confirm that it’s doing the same thing on your end?June 19, 2020 at 8:00 pm #1224138Hi mikeack,
Please try building a test page with only this slider on it and test it.
Best regards,
VictoriaJuly 10, 2020 at 8:37 pm #1229482Sorry for the delay. I attempted to rebuild the slider with just two slides but it freezes as soon as it jumps (no smooth transition) to the second slide. I’ve put a live URL in the private content area below.
July 12, 2020 at 5:45 am #1229736Hi mikeack,
Sorry for the problem. What happens if you activate the parent theme in order to check if there is a problem in you child? We can check for you if you give us permission to do so.

RikardJuly 14, 2020 at 5:05 pm #1230336Rikard, by all means, please feel free to test it. This site was built by an outside company and we have since taken it over. They no longer have access or control of the site and it’s just acting really odd. I’ve used Enfold for a few other sites and have never had this issue. I’m not sure if it’s something they have done or not.
July 16, 2020 at 5:16 am #1230797Hi mikeack,
Thanks for the update. Your sliders seems to be working on both the front and test page today when I checked them, are they working on your end too? Please try checking in a private or incognito window in your browser.
Best regards,
RikardJuly 16, 2020 at 6:12 pm #1230989Hi Rikard,
Thank you for looking into it. I found a TON of custom work in the shortcodes > av-helper-slideshow.php that I removed. I think that may have been what was causing the issue. Now hopefully it doesn’t have any negative consequences. Hahaha!
Thanks again for your support. You always come in clutch to help us users out! :)Mike
