I just tried to update from 4.1.2 to the latest version of Enfold and am getting a “There has been a critical error on your website.” message when I try to load the website. Below are the error details from the email that I received from WordPress:
Error Details

Hey NicomIT,
Did you try to completely remove the theme folder via FTP then upload the new version again? Which version of PHP are you running on the server? Please make sure that it’s 7.1 or higher. You could also try to rename the WordPress plugin folder in order to deactivate all plugins on your installation.
Best regards,
Rikard
Hi Rikard,
The first time I tried the update, I just uploaded the new version of the theme over the existing one. I tried again today, but renamed the old theme folder and uploaded the new version as it’s own separate folder. It looks like that did the trick. Thanks for the help.
Hi NicomIT,
Glad you got it working for you! :)
If you need further assistance please let us know.
