This page: Link 1 in Private Content on website is showing as insecure (actually all Accessories pages are insecure: Link 2 Private Content) and error appears to be here when I open up Web Console on Firefox:

Web Console Message in Private Content

We did build this on dev.rafischer.com but moved the site over sometime ago and just discovered that this content is not secure. I tried resaving permalinks but made no difference. Can you explain to me where this is coming from and how do I set it to /wp-content/themes/enfold/images/layout/bg-button.png instead?

These pages are built using WooCommerce product page and classic editor. Interesting that we have two products built using Enfold’s Advanced Layout Builder and they all show as secure.

Could you please email me at email below as I am Luca’s developer

    Hey whtmsting1,

Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look?

    Best regards,

    Hi whtmsting1,

Please disable all your caching and performance plugins. Your SSL plugin is supposed to force SSL connection and so the image will not be blocked. Also, the path is to the dev site, it did not change while moving the site.

Here are some links for you:

Hmmm – Your answer does not make sense to me. I don’t need help with the SSL. I need help figuring out how to get the bg-button.png from the correct site. Why didn’t the path change when moving the site???

I deleted the SSL plugin. I only installed the Simple SSL to try and force the insecure pages to https – we have an actual SSL cert installed on the server – but then I found that the error appears to be here:

Web Console Message: Loading mixed (insecure) display content “http://dev.rafischer.com/wp-content/themes/enfold/images/layout/bg-button.png” on a secure page avia-footer-scripts-8ceebdf6f0fe288da1f2594e117ae61b—5e83fa11e799c.js:7:1412

Hi – still trying to get an answer to this – we moved the dev site to live but an enfold setting is still calling up a dev file apparently in the footer script? How do I fix this please?

    Hi,

Sorry for the late response. Looks like it’s not working properly because the file compression doesn’t change the source URL from http to https. Please try to disable the Performance > File Compression settings temporarily. Let us know if that helps.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

Thanks – that was the answer!

    Hi,

Great! Glad it helped. If you still want to minify the resources, try to install a third party plugin like Autoptimize or BWP Minify and keep the default compression option disabled.

    Have a nice day.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
