Thanks for contacting us.
Please unzip the zip file you have downloaded from Themeforest
Open the unpacked folder produced by unzipping the file and you should find enfold.zip file
Use enfold.zip to upload in Appearance > Themes.
Hope this helps.Best regards,

GuestSeptember 30, 2020 at 5:20 am #1249559Hi Ernest Schoenmaker,
Can you try to set Max input time to 60? currently it’s still set to 30, you can check this in the link in private content, and go to Server.
Please try to follow these steps:- Login to ThemeForest and download the Enfold theme.
- Right-click over the downloaded zip file and extract/unzip it.
- It should generate a new folder, open it and look for the enfold folder
- Right-click the enfold folder then zip it, here’s a tutorial on how to create a zip file in windows: https://www.howtogeek.com/668409/how-to-zip-and-unzip-files-on-windows-10/ (this should create enfold.zip
- Log in to WordPress as and Admin.
- Install and activate a maintenance plugin and put your site in Maintenance mode.
- Go to Appearance > Themes, switch to a default WordPress theme like TwentyTwenty then delete Enfold.
- Click on the ADD NEW button.
- Click on the UPLOAD THEME button.
- Click BROWSE and choose enfold.zip file
- Click the INSTALL NOW button and switch to Enfold or your child theme.
- Remove the maintenance mode then deactivate and remove the maintenance plugin.
Best regards,

October 1, 2020 at 4:08 am #1249781Hi Ernest,
Do you have access to cPanel or something similar to it? if you have please try to check it there but this also is different in each hosting provider.
For example in hostinger in their hPanel (similar to cPanel), there’s an option to change it in Advanced > PHP Configuration > PHP Options (screenshot is provided in private content).
Here’s also some other ways to change it: https://www.hostinger.com/tutorials/how-to-increase-the-maximum-file-upload-size-in-wordpress (but based on what you said I believe you could not change it via .htaccess).
If none is available to you then the only option is to ask your hosting provider.
If it takes long before they respond then please install via cPanel: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/install-enfold-theme/#install-vianbspcpanel
If you don’t have access, then do the FTP install which is pretty slow but it’s better to have an alternative solution: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/install-enfold-theme/#ftp-installBest regards,
