    Hi,

    Since update 5.4.1 of WordPress external links to PDF’s have W of WordPress as favicon, while the rest of the website shows the proper favicon. I’ve also set a favicon through the customizer of WordPress.

    Hi JantienM,

    I have checked your site using Chrome and Firefox on Windows 10 machine and the favicon seems to be correct.
    I have posted screenshots in private content.

    I have the same issue. Verified on different browsers and computers.

    I have solved the issue adding a favicon.ico file via FTP in mywebsite.com.
    The name of the file must be favicon.ico and not something else like mylogo.ico

    Clear the cache before testing
