Hi,
I added background images in my main menu dropdown, following this thread:
Unfortunately, there is an issue: all my images are blurry (see screenshot in private content with comparison between the original image which is used for the dropdown and the displayed image in the dropdown).
This issue is the same for all my dropdown background images, while I have absolutely no problem with other images on my website.
What could cause this issue and how could I fix it?If needed, you can find a link and credentials to my website in private content.
Thanks a lot!
May 15, 2020 at 12:36 pm #1213258Hey,
Sorry for the late reply!
I could not locate your custom CSS code but I believe images are blurry because you are adding resized images as background image.
Please see private content field :)
Best regards,

Thanks for your reply.
It works fine for this specific image because it’s a square, but not for the other ones in my main menu…
In fact, I created special images sizes to make them the perfect size for my menu. That’s the reason why I added special image size in the code, like “250×250” or “300×327”.
So now, as you told me, I changed all my code to this one (in private content), but as you can see on the screenshot, other background images are not correctly resized so there are white borders on top and bottom.
How could I fix this?
Thanks a lot!May 20, 2020 at 3:20 pm #1214687Hi,
Setting size in “#menu-item-2127 ul” to 420px and in “#menu-item-2120 ul” to 360px removes whitespaces. Could you please try adjusting the code for those 2 images and check if that solution is fine for you?
If it is not, I think you could double the values and create custom sizes again. 500x500px instead of 250x250px and instead of 300x327px 600x654px :)Best regards,
YigitMay 20, 2020 at 4:59 pm #1214716Hi Yigit,
Thanks for your reply.
Double the values works but it would need to create new thumbnails for images as soon as I would like to change them.
So I would prefer your first solution. It works but images are not correctly centered… How could I move them to the left?
Thanks a lot!May 21, 2020 at 11:10 am #1214953Hi,
I just checked your website and it seems like you have solved it by making those images square as well? :)
Do you need further assistance on this case?Best regards,
YigitMay 22, 2020 at 4:13 pm #1215269Hi Yigit,
In fact I solved it by doubling the size values of each image.
But as I told you in my previous message, I would prefer to use your first solution:
“Setting size in “#menu-item-2127 ul” to 420px and in “#menu-item-2120 ul” to 360px removes whitespaces.”
The only thing I need is some code to move images to the left, so they point to the good part of the picture.
Could you help me on this point? Thanks a lot!

Did you remove the account above? It’s not working anymore and we can’t see the site because it’s on maintenance mode. Please provide another account so that we can check site.
Thank you for your patience.
Best regards,
