Hi, I read about this issue an old post
    Tracking with Google Analytics
I followed what was suggested, but it actually doesn’t work. I can see from the page inspection that the js file is loaded, but the script doesn’t appear on the page source.
I created the js file and saved in a js folder within my child theme
I then added to the functions.php the code to register and enqueing the script (and actually it does)

However I should expect to see the script appearing on the page as well as the scripts used for google fonts and google analytics tracking, but it doesn’t.
Any suggestion? How did @allegrabillings managed it?

    Thanks

    Hey Elena,
Sorry for the late reply, I see the old post is from 2013 and the link to the original article is dead, so I’m not sure this would work anymore. I did find this article that may work better.

    Best regards,
    Mike

Thanks Mike, in the meanwhile I found what I needed. For other users’ reference it refers to the use of Google Tag Manager, which is what is needed.
I found very good articles at the following links:

You can close the ticket thanks
