I am working on a portfolio of a model site and, the order is now consistent and orderly (you can see it at this link https://www.alexmodelagency.com/men/) and, so far, no problem. The problem arises when I enter one of the profiles, for example: https://www.alexmodelagency.com/models/andrea-d/
Now, I try to navigate with the arrows on the left and on the right of the page. On the right it should show me the model # 2 instead, it shows me the # 4; on the left he should give me the last one and instead he gives me # 31. For how many attempts to reorder I have made this navigation does not change because, presumably it is based on the IDs of the models.
What can I do to make the left and right arrows take me to the next link using another parameter? That is, 1-2-3-4-5 etc etc

    Thanks for your help

    Hey amepro,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

The next and previous arrows or navigation will contain the adjacent posts sorted by date they were published. One solution then is to adjust the published date of the posts manually.

Hi Ismael, I did what you are saing before to contact you and it did not work. I think it is really strange a procedure created to
reorder the list that doe not work and have to be reordered manually… it doesn’t even work by dragging it…

    Hi,

it doesn’t even work by dragging it…

Did you install a sorting plugin such as Post Types Order? Is it working properly when the plugin is disabled?

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi,

Sorry for the late response. I didn’t receive the email or I probably missed it. Please send the messages here in the forum directly so that other moderators can see the thread.

Did you install a sorting plugin? Those types of plugin are not compatible with the post navigation because they alter the default query including the sorting.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
