I added a header widget for a temporary global announcement. I see the examples and code you’ve provided but it seems none of them are shown with this option “Let logo and menu position adapt to browser window”. The all show very narrow headers.
I added the header widget code and added a whole bunch of custom CSS from the scrolling text example you provided here:
The widget loads find but disables the full width adaptive header I was using previously. Seems to be a position relative/absolute conflict. How can I make the header widget work with “Let logo and menu position adapt to browser window”?

April 8, 2020 at 3:49 pm #1201940Note: I don’t actually wish to make the text scroll. This was just the closest example I could find to use as a starting point.
April 9, 2020 at 7:33 am #1202149I deleted the code. it was on the live site and I couldn’t leave it in that state any longer. Please let me know if there is a solution to adding widget code to a full width header with the “Let logo and menu position adapt to browser window” option selected. Thanks.

Well, we cannot help you if we do not see the issue. Please add it back and don’t comment on the thread until we get back to you.
Please refrain from replying to your own thread because it gets pushed back to the end of the queue and moderators won’t be able to provide a response immediately. Please be patient while we go through the rest of the queue. Thank you for your understanding.

VictoriaApril 13, 2020 at 5:44 pm #1203321Unfortunately, it’s not an option to leave the site broken for a day or two while waiting for you guys to take a look. In my april 9 post, I’m pointing out that all of your header widget examples show very narrow width headers and none seem compatible with a full width header that is adapting to browser window so I was asking if you’ve already found and posted a header widget solution somewhere for a more modern full width header that I can use as a starting point?
Perhaps you haven’t. If that’s is the case, you can go ahead and close this thread because it’s not an option for me to put this site into a staging environment right now.
April 14, 2020 at 3:04 pm #1203609Hi bluesbrush,
Sorry, we could not get to the thread in time. Right now I cannot think of the solution, but when I see I can try to adjust it with css and if it’s not an option right now, we are gonna go ahead and close the thread.
If you need further assistance please let us know in a new one.
Best regards,
Victoria -
