Some issues with Woo and Enfold (Child theme)
- When I add any widgets to the Woocommerce Shop Overview Page widget, nothing shows on the designated shop page.
- When I add widgets to the “Displayed Everywhere” sidebar, it shows on the shop page and on my blog page. That’s not what I want.
- When I add any widgets to my Sidebar Blog widget section it shows in the Shop page as well as blog. Again, not what I want.
- Original Enfold theme (not my child theme). That doesn’t work either. Same result.
- disabling all plugins. That doesn’t change anything.
I’ve tried:
I have another site built on Enfold 4.5.3 + Woocommerce 4.0.1. All works great.
This site is built on Enfold 4.7.3 + Woo 4.01 and it doesn’t work.
The site location = http://ifoc.flywheelsites.com/shop/ Credentials are below.
Need a quick turnaround on this please!

April 11, 2020 at 3:49 pm #1202928Hi DanielCPalmer,
You have the header.php and the single.php in the child theme. Did you get them updated with a fresh copy?
Best regards,
VictoriaApril 13, 2020 at 10:16 pm #1203356I’m using theme version: 4.7.3. All I did was add Font Awesome and Google fonts in the header.

April 19, 2020 at 3:19 pm #1205241Hi DanielCPalmer,
The shop page is rendered using the archive template and so it uses the blog sidebar. So the widgets show up. We can hide those widgets with the css.
Here is the code you can put in Enfold > General Styling > Quick Css, if it does not work, put into themes/enfold/css/custom.css
.archive.woocommerce #newsbox-3, .archive.woocommerce #em_widget-3 { display: none; }
If you need further assistance please let us know.
Best regards,
VictoriaApril 19, 2020 at 3:39 pm #1205248Victoria, that is incorrect. See this site we built: Everniq. It’s on your theme and I’ve used different widgets for the “Shop Overview Page” than I did for the blog. Note the difference.
Please find me someone who knows your theme and Woocommerce well.
Thanks!
April 19, 2020 at 5:03 pm #1205276Victoria, I figured it out. You have to set the sidebar settings in the actual shop page. Worth noting for future support help.
April 19, 2020 at 5:04 pm #1205277Hi DanielCPalmer,
https://share.getcloudapp.com/L1u7zZ2Q There has been a change in the sidebar logic and so this could have been affected. So you can try setting a different sidebar for the archive pages and see if it works as you need.
Best regards,
