Good evening Folks,
I did, of course, also the last WP-Update and I’ve got the same probs as the
most other customers here. And then I followed Rikards help-instructions…
so far so good. But if I want to try to work with the Avia-Builder I can’t scroll
down on the page. The other tip – switch to the classic-editor – is not really
helpfull, because after that I only see the “shortcode window“ and nothing else! ;/So, is there an new enfold- or wp-update on the way or is there another possibility
to solve my tech-probs? I really need a solution because I have to go on with my
works. ;/I’m looking forward to hear from you!

CarstenPS: I work with a Mac…maybe that is important to know. The problem is on every
browser, not only on safari!Hey Carsten,
I have no problem scrolling anything on the page in private, I’m on OSX using Chrome. Could you try to explain a bit further what you are seeing on your end, or post a screenshot highlighting it please? Also, did you try switching to the Classic Editor?

As I has written – I switched to the classic-mode but after that I only can
see the shortcode-edit-box (see screenshot 1).Another mystery is cleared – after the update wp switched automatically
to the fullscreen-mode. This can be reversed with the button on the right
side…ok…solved!But in the Avia-Mode I’m not able to scroll over the new bar at the bottom
of the browser-window (see screenshot 2). This bar wasn’t there before
WP 5.4!If you say you work also under OSX which system you use? I work with
10.11.6 (El Capitan) I know it’s an old system but I can’t upgrade because
of old software I need!With WP 5.3.2 and Avia everything is fine here! Should I downgrade WP?
Or do you know now what kind of problem I have? This would be great! :)I’m looking forward to your new answer.

Thanks for the update. By chance we’re on the exact same version of OSX, I never bothered to update it since I bought my computer :-)
If you activate the Classic Editor, then revisions and the excerpt box for example will show up under the Layout Builder. When you have the Block Editor active then those options will be available for you in the sidebar instead. So there isn’t really anything to scroll down to.
About that small bar reading document, that appears when I activate a default WordPress theme as well, so it’s not theme related. I’m not sure when or why that was introduced into WordPress to be honest with you.

thx for your new answer and the infos! Aaah, that’s of course funny, but I think further
that 10.11.6 is still a very good system! ;-) But unfortunately Apple has definitely no
interessts to maintain this system any longer! And also many Software-companys! ;-/
I was forced to install my tax software on Catalina these days. And I was not very happy
about that huge circumstance! ;-/Ok, I think I had an missunderstanding…the only way to reacitvate the classic-editor is
to install the plugin! You didn’t talk about that in your first post and I didn’t do that
before, so I wasn’t able to switch to the classic-mode. Now I installed it and switched
and – hurra – everthing is fine again! ;-) But that can not be a permanent solution,
can it? But for the moment it helps, of course!And I think you also didn’t understand exactly what my problem was – or still is. ;-)
I’ll try again to explain: If I want to drag an element of the top from the avia-builder
to the bottom of the side, I come only until the new bar and not further! After I switched
back to the classic-editor this no problem any longer…I’m able again to scroll with the
element down to the bottom of the side! Did you understand now or did you understand
already before? :-) And if it so, do you had no problems to do that on your system? If it
were so, it were very strange for me. But wonder happens always again…especially at
eastern! ;-)Ok, for the moment so far…do you have any new ideas what I can do more? Of course not
update my other projects to WP 5.4! And wait on WP 5.5! ;-)And of course – Happy Eastern 🐣 – for you!

Thanks for the clarification, I see what you mean now. I can reproduce it on my end too unfortunately, I will report this to our developers.
As a temporary fix I deactivated your Classic Editor plugin, and activated it in the theme options instead. I hope it’s ok if you use that until we have fixed this problem.

God damn…what a fool am I! ;-/ You see the options nearly every day in the backend and
then, if it’s necessarry, you don’t see the forest because of all the trees, right? ;-/ ;-) Thanks
