Dear Kriesi,
During this pandemic, I am trying to help a friend get positioned better for when this all blows over. His web presence is lacking, and since we both have no work, I am helping him out with pro bona design, print, videos, writing, photography and hopefully a website.
Since I am a designer and video guy, and not a web guy, and have ONLY used Enfold for clients in the past, having the purchase a license each time from Theme Forrest.
Would you help me, help my friend by allowing me to use the files I already have as the basis for a new website for him?
If he wants to upgrade in the future, I will leave that up to him. I’m sure I could have probably done this without asking, but I didn’t feel right ethically in doing so.
Please let me know if that’s ok.

Hey Dan,
We appreciate you asking, but we can’t ok unlicensed use of the theme files unfortunately. Having said that, we can’t really stop you from using the theme as you wish either. If you should decide that you want to use the theme unlicensed, then I would ask that you consider buying a license once your client is in a position to purchase one.
