Hi,
The most weird thing happened…: I updated WP and lost vision after that of the Layer Slider. Switching off reactivates the function of the Layer Slider…?
Can I now simply delete the Layer Slider plug in?Cheers,
Leo

Please send us a temporary WordPress admin login and login URL so that we can have a closer look. You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply. Also please point out where you are using the LayerSlider on the front end.
Best regards,

April 3, 2020 at 11:39 am #1200476Hey,
Editor is missing under Apperance tab therefore I could not apply the changes. Please refer to this post – https://kriesi.at/support/topic/error-after-wordpress-update-2/#post-1200131 :)
Cheers!

April 9, 2020 at 1:02 pm #1202263Hi Leo,
There is “Editor” section in “Appearance” tab of WordPress dashboard which allows you to edit theme files. Editor is missing on your installation therefore I was not able to edit theme files.
If you do not mind posting FTP logins here privately, we can update the file for you :)
Best regards,
YigitApril 9, 2020 at 2:12 pm #1202308Hi Yigit,
I really appreciate your offer!!! See details in private zone.
I got another issue, I’d to consult you about. If you want me to make a separate post of it, pls let me know.
In order to speed up mobile traffic I changed to AMP for WP – Accelerated Mobile Pages for WordPress.
I’m crying my eyes out, because in Enfold settings I can no longer activate ‘Do not use an Alternate Menu for Mobile’.
What am I doing wrong?Best regards,
Leo
April 9, 2020 at 2:36 pm #1202317Hi Leo,
I went to Enfold theme options > Layout Builder and deactivated bundled LayerSlider in “Integrated (Bundled) LayerSlider Plugin” and activated LayerSlider in plugins. Then I went to Autoptimize settings and disabled JS minify option and flushed cache.
Please review your website :)

Thanks a lot! It seems to be working fine!
Anything I can do about the other issue I mentioned?

April 16, 2020 at 6:06 am #1204256Hi Leo,
Thanks for that. I see that the Do not use an Alternate Menu for Mobile option is already selected on your site. Do you mean that you are not able to select a different menu for mobile in that dropdown?
Best regards,
RikardApril 16, 2020 at 8:31 am #1204294Hi Rikard,
That’s right. I kept the use of the alternate menu off, because I thought this might badly influence the performance. The problem is that switching it on doesn’t show the enfold theme on mobile, which it used to do when using the previous AMP-plugin. I changed plugin because the previous one generated quite some malfunctions.
So, ideally I would like to use the theme on mobile whilst having good AMP-performancers.
Best regards,
Leo
April 21, 2020 at 9:06 am #1205703Hi Leo,
It seems like AMP is setting a mobile theme in AMP > Design > Themes. Could you please check with plugin authors and ask them if it is possible to disable it?

YigitApril 24, 2020 at 9:59 am #1206759Hi Yigit,
And so I did with the Indian authors, it seems I would have to buy an additional plugin, but still left with building seperate AMP-pages.
I’m not keen on this solution…
Could you advise me on the best AMP-plugin combing with Enfold?
On the forums I see conflicting ideas.
I would appreciate your advice!Best regards,
Leo

I’m not sure whether my last message asking for a good AMP-solution combining Enfold reached you? Please let me know your advice.

May 10, 2020 at 6:04 pm #1211679Hi,
Sorry for the late reply, I tried researching these AMP plugins but didn’t find any positive reviews for them with Enfold, but you could still try them and perhaps one will work for your needs.Best regards,
MikeMay 13, 2020 at 9:17 am #1212534Hi MIke,
Thanks I tried them all, but either they generate errors, or they don’t take over the the theme. Or one has to build separate AMP-pages….so that’s a bugga. If you have any ideas to add AMP toe Enfold, please let me know,,,;)!
Best regards,
Leo
May 13, 2020 at 1:12 pm #1212604Hi,
Perhaps another member has worked on this, but as this is a different question than your thread title it may not be seen by the other users that have worked on this.
I recommend opening a new thread with a new title about AMP.
But as AMP is a third-party plugin, it is out of our scope to customize.Best regards,
Mike -
