Firstly: Great Theme!
We need the functionality of the plugin “Enfold Repeatable Content”.
For example we want to create a content which we can include in a widget in the footer or on other pages.
The content should be able to be easily changed by just editing the origin content.
Our question is: Will this functionality be added to enfold in the next time?
I think it would be very valuable to many users. Not working for us:
– Shortcodes (The repeatable content should be able to be changed easily)
– Pagecontent / Seiteninhalt (we dont want the whole content of a page/portfolio to be repeated)Thanks & Greets

Glad you’re enjoying the theme :)
I will forward this as a feature request. It will be considered by our devs.

March 21, 2022 at 6:38 pm #1345386Any news about integrating something like the plugin “Enfold Repeatable Content”?
Or do you know if the Plugin still works (seems kind of old, 2019)?
Thx!March 21, 2022 at 8:48 pm #1345410Hi StuWeTueHo,
Did you check the Page Content element, or the Custom Element Template functionality? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/custom-element-templates/

RikardMarch 24, 2022 at 7:15 pm #1345917Hi Rikard,
yep, i know both options. But both work differen:
With “Repeatable Content” it’s possible to create just an element an use it in multiple pages. And can be edited/changed just in 1 Place (more like Widgets).“Page Content” is using the whole page, not just an element.
“Custom Element Template” is just a single Element with other Settings, but not a whole Element like a Row with other Elements inside.
“Save Element as Template” can be used, but the copied Element has no “connection” anymore. So changes can’t be done for all just in one place.Greetz!
March 25, 2022 at 4:22 pm #1346033Hi StuWeTueHo,
Thanks for the update. Those are the only options available in the theme at the moment. The Custom Elements are probably what I would recommend that you go for, even though you can’t create whole sections. But it’s easy enough save all the elements you need, and then drag them to the layout. You could also create a page for the content which you want to repeat, then simply copy the shortcodes in that page to where you want the content. You will need to enable debug mode if you want to see shortcodes: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/intro-to-advanced-layout-builder/#debug-mode

thx for your reply. But as mentioned, the “Custom Element” is not an option, because it doesn’t do what we need. We also know the Debug mode and possibility to copy/paste Shortcodes. The Plugin “Enfold Repeatable Content” would have the Functionality, but because it’s old i have concernes.
Functionality should be like a WP Widget:
– Create an Element or Section with multiple Elements incl. Content etc.
– Use this on multiple Pages
– Change Elements & Content later in 1 place. And this updates it everywhere on the website where it is used.Anyway, seems there is currently nothing like this planned. Maybe concider it, i think this is very helpful.

We are always looking to improve the features of the theme, and this is something I would personally like to add. I’ll bring it up for discussion internally.
If you are looking to a widget, then there is the Widget Area element.

March 1, 2023 at 10:00 am #1399646Are you aware that you can do this exact thing with Custom Element Templates?
You can go to Custom Elements tab, hover over the custom element you want to change and than there is pencil / edit icon.
Beware that you disable WordPress Full screen mode, otherwise nothing happens when you hover over the custom element.
