Without installing a plugin, is there a way for me to quickly/safely update site with meta information needed by Twitter and Facebook to display website information when people include website in a post.
For twitter card validator I get:
INFO: Page fetched successfully
INFO: 5 metatags were found
ERROR: No card found (Card error)I am not very tekky – please use small words. My main goal is to keep site stable and get Twitter and FB cards working asap. If I do have to have a plugin, is there one that is less likely to cause a big problem. Any help is much appreciated.
Did not hear back, so I had to install plugin to handle. I understand most people use SEO plugins. But, for my purposes, I did not want one. Might consider option to edit tags (for twitter especially) since default wordpress is not always sufficient to function as desired.
I have really been pleased with the theme. And was happy that I was (eventually) able to get everything running as a newbie by sorting through the support forum. A little disappointed in response time when I submitted.
