    Hi,

    Can´t update a page with new content. What does this mean? And how to fix it?

    Hey Sven,

    Sorry for the problem. Could you try to switch to the Classic Editor in the main page of the theme options to see if that helps please? If not then please post admin login details in private so that we can have a closer look.

    Hi Rikard,

    Done and no it doesn´t work!

    This is a bug of an enfold update. In another website with a similar page and an older version of enfold = no problem!

    BUG
    There is a simple page with 2 columns of 4 images (catalogue titles). The images link to the manufacturer catalogue PDFs. If you only use the image, everything works. If you insert a manually link to the image you get the issue and following error message:

    Aktualisierung fehlgeschlagen. Fehlermeldung: Die Antwort ist keine gültige JSON-Antwort.

    If you deactivate the (any!!) link or delete the link, everything works again.

    Details private. Please need a fast fix / patch!

    PS. It´ not possible to set the image overlay with a color there… why? It´s set in theme options.

    Everything solved.

    1) Copy the page and delete it.
    2) Edit the new page and it works.
    3) Additional question: if you use captions with overlay color … it overwrites the theme option with image overlay color.

    We have this same problem occurring on all of our Enfold sites. What’s the fix – we are not going to be deleting and recreating pages as this poster did.

    unfortunately I have the same problem with the newly installed theme some days ago:
    Die Antwort ist keine gültige JSON-Antwort.

    Also the buttons p.e. “features” etc always give a 404 error

    How can I fix that? I have no plugin installed…

    Hi Susi,

    We can’t view your site since it’s protected via htaccess, please post those details in private as well. Also, what happens if you select to use the Classic Editor in the main page of the theme options?

    Hi There,

    i also get this Error Message when i wanted to save a site or change the adress. Also i can´t save the site. I´ve updated Enfold today, also i changed the php Version to 7.X – i also updated WordPress. Still get this error message: Aktualisierung fehlgeschlagen. Die Antwort ist keine gültige JSON-Antwort.

    I tried to duplicate the site – changed to the old builder – but it is still not working.

    Can you please help me?

    Hi Julia,

    Thanks for the login details. Switching to the Classic Editor in the main page of the theme options has worked for other users, could you try that out please?

    Hi Julia,

    Thanks for that. I switched to the Classic Editor in the main page of the theme options, then I edited your contact page without any problem. I can’t see any error messages.

    The only problem I can see is that it seems like you have selected to not load the Google Maps element, you can turn that on under Enfold->Performance if you like.
